“How is COYOTE?” we are asked regularly, out in the world. “It’s good!” we’ll say, before word vomiting something about updating our operating agreement or filing taxes or finishing our profit and loss statement.
We knew but didn’t know-know that launching a worker-owned media outlet would mean things other than telling stories we’re excited about. Turns out starting a business from scratch — not to mention a collective — is a lot of work! We’ve been full steam ahead for a year now building COYOTE from the inside out while also bringing you all the smart, fascinating, snarky, and unique journalism we can muster.
And we’re a little tired. So we’re taking the week of June 29 off. But rest assured that we have some amazing stories in the works which we’re so excited to share with you, as soon as we 😴🏖️💅🌈🏕️.
