Welcome to the COYOTE Calendar. Here are this week's hand-picked events, just for you. This Friday is International Workers' Day aka May Day and this calendar is dedicated to the walkouts, opt-outs, and other actions that you can partake in to show solidarity for workers and the labor movement. I've included all the May Day events I could track down in the Bay Area, but if you know of some I missed, please put them in the comments! Solidarity forever.
(Fun fact: the United States does not technically recognize International Workers' Day, which is almost too on the nose. For more on the history of this day, check out The Incomplete, True, Authentic, and Wonderful History of May Day.)
On top of May Day, this weekend we've got SF Rubber Weekend, the Museum of Forgotten Fun's newest exhibit, Silicon Valley Open Studios, the Tri-Valley Artist Studio Tour, and the Santa Rosa Zine Fest. The SF International Film Festival continues as well (check out our COYOTE picks here), and if you love murder mysteries and dinner theater wow do I have a special treat for you. Plus, for the banjo sickos, the Freight's 10th Anniversary Bluegrass Festival.
This week we've also got Star Wars, saws, Sailor Moon, and several ways to swap. We'll post new events each Wednesday. Go forth and enjoy!

You can see all of COYOTE's past calendar picks here. If you have an event you'd like to see on a future COYOTE Calendar, email us at calendar@coyotemedia.org. If you attended and enjoyed any of these events, we'd love to hear about it in the comments!
